1. ARCANGUES GOLF COURSE

2. CHIBERTA GOLF COURSE  

On the seafront, the Golf de Chiberta is an 18-hole, 5600-metre-long course (par 70) designed by the famous architect Tom Simpson. Opened in 1927 Angletbetween Bayonne and Biarritz, it is a mixture of sandy links and in-land through the forest. Thanks to its favourable climate and exceptional natural environment, the Basque Country has become a favourite with golfers.


3. BIARRITZ LE PHARE GOLF COURSE

With over 15,000 visitors a year, the Golf de Biarritz is one of the most prestigious courses in Europe. It boasts a reputation for technical excellence and authenticity, as well as the invaluable advantage of being a golf course in the heart of the radiant city of Biarritz. The 900 or so members of the Golf Club who play here all year round can measure their good fortune and pleasure! Beyond its majestic setting, the Golf de Biarritz is also part of an eco-responsible approach, in line with the overall environmental policy adopted by the town of Biarritz. Optimised water management and rainwater recovery, electric gardening equipment, selection of suitable plants, waste management... the means implemented by the Golf de Biarritz to implement sustainable and responsible maintenance are numerous and are developed every year.


4. CHANTACO GOLF COURSE

Founded in 1928, Golf de Chantaco is a club with an 18-hole course designed by Harry Colt, just outside Saint-Jean-de-Luzalternating between 9 wooded holes and 9 more technical holes. Open all year round to members and visitors, Golf de Chantaco offers a wide range of services to all golfers. Practice areas: a 28-station driving range, 3 of which are covered, with targets on a synthetic green. The only practice area in the region on flat ground, allowing players to calibrate their game; a putting green and two approach areas.


5. ILBARRITZ GOLF COURSE

The Ilbarritz golf course is an international training centre and a 9-hole course with views of the sea and mountains... An exceptional place, open to all, all year round with quality equipment and a sea view that will blow your swing away! A golf course and an international training centre, open all year round, where professionals, beginners and experienced golfers rub shoulders in a privileged environment between the ocean, the Basque mountains, the Château d'Ilbarritz and the Villa les Ailes (formerly the Pavillon Royal)... 6. LA NIVELLE GOLF COURSE

Created in 1907, this tree-lined course winds around a hill between ocean, river and mountain. It was originally designed by J.H. Taylor, a renowned champion and architect. It's a uniquely British course with plenty of variety and undulations, offering superb views of the ocean, the Nivelle river, the port of saint jean-de-luz and the Pyrenees. This is a technical course: the terrain and the slope, sometimes steep, require the golfer to adapt his stance and swing; the sloping greens are demanding.


7. MAKILA GOLF CLUB

Located on the outskirts of Bayonnein the commune of Bassussarry, and just 10 minutes from the beaches of Biarritz, the Bayonne - Bassussarry Golf Club offers you an 18-hole course with character, nestling in the middle of an oak forest in the heart of the Basque Country. Its wide fairways stretch between stretches of water, century-old trees and numerous bunkers, dominated by the Rhune and the Pyrenees. This idyllic setting inspired the American architect, Rocky Roquemore, who succeeded in harmonising a very stylish layout with an imposing natural site, undulating and wooded, to offer golfers of all levels the pleasure of the little white ball.
